‘GRANDMA CAKE’…..A CELEBRATION TRADITION!!

Gert Kimble is the CEO of Kimbo Educational.  She and her late husband, Bob Kimble, began a tradition 58 years ago of offering best-selling CD resources for schools, libraries and homes.

Another long tradition for Gert has been to honor special family times, such as Birthday celebrations, Thanksgiving and Christmas, with the ‘Grandma Cake’.  In fact, Gert has baked this cake over 400 times for all the events in their family!

Gert received this treasured recipe from her own mother who passed the ‘Grandma Cake’ recipe down to her.  It has become a much loved sweet offering for generations of the Kimble Family.

Here is Gert’s famous recipe, which she has offered to share with you; enjoy!  May 2012 be a year of everything that is rich and good.
